Huckleberry Ridge Hunting Preserve – NC Black Bear Hunting

Over the past year we've discovered
that we have a growing Black Bear population in Aurora, NC along Bond Creek in
Beaufort County and property we own down east in Carteret County.
Take a look at our
Black Bear Photo
Gallery and you'll see
that these bears are of considerable size and multiplying. For the 2008
season we are only offering fully guided hunts which will include four (4) days
of hunting, three (3) nights of lodging, meals, and transportation from our
facility in Tarboro, NC to the hunt and back.
Please
visit the
NC Wildlife Resources Commission Web site or call them at (888) 248-6834 for instructions on obtaining the
proper hunting license for all
North Carolina Black Bear hunts in our region. The bag limits listed above reflect the
Huckleberry Ridge Hunting Preserve bear population management policies.
Call our toll-free number at (866) 614-7281 and talk to one of our guides to
make arrangements for a hunt. We require a 50% deposit to make the
reservation. All major credit cards accepted. Prices and limits are
subject to change without notice.
